Essential Functions/Duties
- Compiles audit plans, audit check sheets and procedures for audits.
- Performs internal audits of 135/145 and 206/407 process, documents and data.
- Performs safety inspection of maintenance areas and facilities.
- Compiles audit results and report’s findings to the Director of Safety.
- Performs spot checks of 135/145 and 206/407 processes to promote quality improvement.
- Performs root cause analysis for quality issues found in area of assignment and report’s findings.
- May be required to travel to and collect pertinent statements, evidence and information important to the analysis of an accident.
- In accordance with the GMR SMS identifies hazards and performs/assists with safety risk and change management assessments.
- Ensures effectiveness of safety risk controls.
- Promotes safety.
- Serves on quality focus teams and workgroups.
- Promotes an attitude of continual improvement with co-workers and is constantly looking for areas to improve in quality of maintenance operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanic’s certificate with Airframe & Powerplant ratings, IA preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ledan Manufacturing or Six Sigma practice preferred.
- Strong analysis and problem solving ability.
- Knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturer directives.
- Five years’ experience in Part 135/145 helicopter maintenance operations.
- Experience in Quality Improvement/assurance processes strongly preferred.
Benefits
Starting salary between $90,000- $95,000.
