AEGIS Based Defense Systems Engineer
About the role
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented AEGIS Based Defense Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role you will be part of a talented and mission-oriented professional team of federal engineers, active-duty Naval Officers and Contract staff who are willing to roll up their sleeves and get missile defense capability out to the Fleet. You will also be part of a team of some of the best and brightest Engineers and scientists our country has to offer.
Work between Next Generation Missile Defense and the Munitions Acceleration Council. Responsible for maintaining and executing the cohesive strategy that integrates NGMD advancements with accelerated munitions production. Ensure as new capabilities and technologies become available, they are quickly incorporated into ongoing production for delivery to the warfighter. Provide direct oversight and facilitate cross functional collaboration among program teams from development and prototyping to production and sustainment. Aligning technical roadmap for NGMD integration. Responsible for the introduction of disruptive technologies, ensuring a unified architectural approach, resolving system integration challenges and transitioning to production.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and execute the cohesive strategy that integrates NGMD advancements with accelerated munitions production

Requirements
- US Citizenship with Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical/scientific discipline degree related to area of specialty (NOTE: Newly-hired PhD graduates are typically hired into this level.)
- 5+ years of related professional experience
- Mastery of MS Office suite and familiarity with collaborative tools such as Jira, Confluence or Teams
- Missile System Experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM Field
- 7+ Years experience
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Prior experience with Weapons Systems Deployment
- Experience with Missile Systems Engineering
- Technical experience in one of the following areas: Fleet operations, systems engineering, missile systems, Aegis Qualifications, etc.
Security Clearance Requirement
An active Secret security clearance is required for this position. This position is part of our Federal Solutions team. The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.

Pay
Salary Range: $103,500.00 - $181,100.00
