AEGIS Based Defense MBSE

Job Description

Parsis is seeking an AEGIS Based Defense MBSE professional to contribute to our mission-oriented team. Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Aegis-Based Defense Lead Systems Engineer, Digital Engineering Lead, and Requirements Lead.
• Leading the incorporation of Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) and digital engineering into the A-BD system.
• Developing a sysML A-BD System model for architecture definition, requirements development, and verification.
• Liaising between digital engineering, requirements engineering, and the modeler.
• Overseeing the sysML model of the A-BD Engineering organization and its processes.
• Driving continuous digital transformation of the fleet's premier combat system.
• Integrating various technical, operational, and intelligence functions.
• Ensuring the Aegis-Based Defense remains effective against evolving threats.
• Leading the adoption of modern frameworks and tools, focusing on MBSE.
• Developing and maintaining integrated digital models.
• Establishing standard operating procedures for the digital engineering environment.
• Managing model product creation and Integrated Digital Data Environment (IDDE) accounts.
• Supporting the Transformation Task Force's mission to field advanced capabilities to the warfighter with increased speed and scale.

Required Skills

• US Citizenship with Active Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Mastery of MS Office suite and familiarity with collaborative tools like Jira, Confluence, or Teams.
• sysML experience and MBSE experience.

Desired Skills

• Active TS/SCI Clearance.
• Experience with Aegis Weapons Systems.
• Experience with Missile Systems Engineering.
• Technical experience in areas such as Fleet operations, systems engineering, missile systems, Aegis Qualifications, etc.

Qualifications

• An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.

Pay

$103,500.00 - $181,100.00
