Advocate

Summary of the Position

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Advocate for the Salem, Oregon area to provide services to youth at the MAC Youth Facility. This position requires a minimum commitment of 35 hours per week in a structured facility setting.

Qualifications/Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources
• Experience working with at-risk youth and youth involved in the juvenile justice system is a plus
• Efficient written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance coverage
• Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) is a plus
