Summary of the Position
Hourly, Part Time position serving youth and families throughout Alameda County are available. Applicant must be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in the community, school, and home settings.
Primary Responsibilities
- Initiate, organize, plan, develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.
- All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model.
Qualifications/Requirements
- A minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
- Previous experience working with youth or in community service environments a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with diverse youth populations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of youth development principles and resources available in the community.
- Compassionate, patient, and resilient attitude in dealing with challenging situations.
Additional Information
- Position requires valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance coverage.
