Advocate
Summary of the Position
A Full-Time Hourly Advocate position serving youth and families throughout Marion County is available. The primary responsibilities include initiating, organizing, planning, developing, and implementing direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families. Service plans are based on a strength-based approach using the wrap-around model.
Qualifications/Requirements
- A minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
- Experience working with at-risk youth.
- Proficiency using computers, Microsoft Office 365.
- Knowledge of Electronic Health Record Systems (EHR) is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage is required.
- Bilingual (Spanish) speaking is a plus.
