Summary of the Position
Hourly, Part Time position serving youth and families throughout Erie County are available. Applicant must be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in the community, school and home settings.
Primary Responsibilities
- Initiate, organize, plan, develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.
- Cookout and community engagement to build support networks.
- All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
- Experience working with at-risk youth and families.
- Basic computer knowledge is required; experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance is required.
- Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus.
