Advocate
Summary of the Position
Hourly, part-time position serving youth and families throughout Jefferson County are available. Applicant must be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in community, school, and home settings.
Primary responsibilities
- Initiate, organize, plan, develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.
- All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model.
Qualifications/Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
- Experience working with at-risk youth.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft office suite; experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) Systems is a plus.
- Requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage.
- Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus.

$20.00 per hour
Schedule
Flexible Schedule; non-traditional hours including some evenings and weekends.
