Position Purpose

The Advo-KIT is the face of the Kit brand in the field—executing in-store tastings and weekly account visits that grow sales and drive visibility. You’ll build authentic relationships with consumers and retailers alike while making Kit impossible to ignore in your local market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the Brand: Engage with consumers during in-store demos, events, and samplings. Represent Kit’s values, energy, and product knowledge with confidence and care.
  • Execute 1–3 In-Store Demos Weekly: At key accounts like Whole Foods, Market Basket, and independents. Demos are typically 2-3 hours each.
  • Weekly Account Visits: Call on a targeted list of accounts to:
    • Secure incremental displays and shelf placement
    • Add POS (point-of-sale) materials to drive visibility
    • Introduce new SKUs and sell in product
    • Identify and close gaps in execution (OOS, pricing, display support)
  • Record all visits, outcomes, and follow-ups in CRM software
  • Report findings to the Market Manager weekly
  • Cook up a sampling calendar: Work with the sales team to schedule and confirm demos and tastings at priority accounts
  • Track + Report: Submit post-demo recaps, maintain inventory of assets, and track products used
  • Support Merchandising: Occasionally assist sales team with product placement, shelf organization, and display building.

  • Able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (must be able to transport demo assets)
  • Cell phone with camera (for activation photos and reporting)
  • Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Experience in sales, brand ambassadorship, or the beverage industry is a plus
  • Must be 21+ years of age

Physical Expectations

  • Standing and walking for extended periods
  • Lifting and carrying cases (up to 30 lbs) and equipment like tables and tents (up to 40 lbs)
  • Comfortable working in a range of weather conditions during outdoor events
