As Advisor III, Procurement Projects, you will help deliver reliable, value-driven procurement support for significant project categories and programs. You will partner with stakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to make informed sourcing, supplier, and contract decisions that support safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead category and sourcing work for medium-complexity procurement scopes, including categories or programs with multiple stakeholders, suppliers, and functional interfaces.
  • Develop and adjust category plans based on business needs, market dynamics, supplier performance, and changing project priorities.
  • Manage the full sourcing lifecycle, from spend and market analysis through supplier selection, award, contracting, and transition.
  • Use cost drivers, market information, scenario modeling, and risk-adjusted analysis to recommend sourcing strategies that balance cost, service, schedule, and commercial risk.
  • Serve as a trusted procurement partner to business leaders and cross-functional teams by aligning stakeholders, resolving competing priorities, and communicating clear trade-offs and recommendations.
  • Lead supplier negotiations on price, service levels, and standard contract terms, escalating only atypical or high-impact exceptions.
  • Design and manage contract structures, monitor supplier performance, and drive improvement plans when quality, service, cost, or risk expectations are not met.
  • Build project plans, dashboards, and recurring analyses that improve decision-making, support compliance, and strengthen procurement execution across assigned initiatives.
  • Experience in competitive bidding and award of both Equipment as well as Construction Services.
  • Experience in negotiating terms and conditions for equipment and services.

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher level of education in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 or more years of experience in procurement, supply chain, purchasing, category management, or sourcing.
  • Experience in competitive bidding and award of both Equipment as well as Construction Services.
  • Experience in negotiating terms and conditions for equipment and services.
  • Must be willing and able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to travel up to 5%.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree, such as an MBA or related graduate degree.
  • Experience in projects procurement, midstream operations, energy, industrial, construction, or capital project environments.
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, or guiding junior procurement team members or cross-functional project participants.
  • Experience developing category strategies, procurement business cases, supplier scorecards, dashboards, or recurring reporting for leadership audiences.
  • Strong working knowledge of contract management, supplier management, procurement process improvement, sustainable procurement, and budget or cost analysis.
  • Professional procurement, supply chain, project management, or contract management certification.
  • Experience leading sourcing events, evaluating supplier options, supporting negotiations, and administering contracts for multi-stakeholder categories or programs.
  • Ability to manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and support issue resolution tied to quality, service, cost, risk, and delivery expectations.
  • Experience using procurement or ERP systems, such as SAP, and building financial, spend, supplier, or market analyses to support business decisions.
  • Ability to engage stakeholders, communicate clearly, influence decisions, and work collaboratively with operations, finance, legal, HSE, and other functions.

Pay

This position has a base salary range of $125,100 – $152,900. Each role is assigned a salary grade with a defined pay range, benchmarked against industry peers. Where a candidate offer falls within the posted range depends on the candidate's experience, skills, and alignment with the role’s requirements. Offers are made to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
