Advisor HR - 2nd Shift - Tyson of Rogers Plant
About the role
This position provides process and transactional support for HR systems and processes, serving as the first point of contact for users through case management (via ServiceNow), chat, and phone support. Responsibilities include managing high-volume walk-up support, incoming support calls routed to the People Operations team, resolving first-level support requests, and handling related tasks such as intake data, updating team members' personal information, HR system navigation, and leave of absence (LOA) support. The role also involves monitoring HR inboxes, responding directly to inquiries, or escalating issues to appropriate teams, including Centers of Excellence, Directors HR, or Leadership.
Must sit at Tyson’s Rogers plant; no remote work. Shift: 3 PM – 11:30 PM.
Responsibilities
- Receive and provide basic navigation support for routine HR correspondence following established procedures (e.g., address changes, application support, background check corrections, and employee self-service support).
- Review and update key business processes and general master data components.
- Collaborate with the People Operations team to achieve faster support service level agreements and meet department key performance indicators.
- Manage high-volume walk-up and phone support for HR-related inquiries.
- Monitor HR inboxes, respond to inquiries, or escalate issues to the appropriate team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years of relevant customer support experience and past data entry experience.
- Intermediate computer skills, including generating simple letters, spreadsheets, and/or graphics, or creating simple queries and formatted data output.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of HR systems and processes is a plus.

- Familiarity with SAP/HR and Workday is highly valued but not required.
Pay
This is an hourly position with a base pay range. Additional compensation may be available based on shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses. Pay is determined by relevant skills, market data, internal equity, and other factors.
