Advisor Development Program - Financial Solutions Advisor Trainee- University Place Financial Center

About the role

Merrill Wealth Management is a leading provider of comprehensive wealth management and investment products and services for individuals, companies, and institutions. The Advisor Development Program (ADP) is designed to help individuals develop into successful Financial Solutions Advisors (FSAs).

Responsibilities

• Obtain Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 66)
• Receive dedicated study time for licensing exams
• Learn foundational skills for being an advisor, including client relationship management, complex financial picture consideration, and providing advice and solutions
• Work in a financial center to deliver Bank of America's core banking, investment solutions, and client care
• Progress through stages of development, starting as an ADP Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I and potentially progressing to a Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor (MFSA)
• Build a portfolio of affluent and high net worth clients
• Develop into a core Merrill Financial Advisor

Requirements

• Confidence working in a sales role
• Strong client relationships through effective communication and collaboration
• Proactive mindset and effective time management
• Results-driven mindset and prioritization of client interests
• Identification of appropriate client solutions through learning and new information
• Applying relevant regulatory due diligence in daily activities and creating long-term client strategies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or at least one year of financial services industry or sales experience
• Learns and adapts to new technology or applications
• Executes multiple tasks simultaneously
