About the role

As an Advisor Development Program Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (ADP FSA I), your journey begins with obtaining your Securities Industry licenses, including dedicated study time for your Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 Exams. Once licensed, you will learn the foundational skills needed to be an advisor—acquiring, building, and managing client relationships while addressing a client’s complex financial picture and guiding them with advice and solutions to help them live their best financial lives. This role humanizes financial interactions.

After reaching key milestones, you will work in a financial center delivering Bank of America’s core banking, investment solutions, and client care approach. The program equips you with everything needed as you progress through development stages. Upon demonstrating success, you will typically advance to the next stage as a Merrill Financial Advisor Development Program - Financial Advisor (ADP FA), transitioning to a local Merrill Wealth Management office to begin building a portfolio of affluent and high-net-worth clients. Successful ADP FAs may progress further within the program, with the ultimate goal of becoming a core Merrill Financial Advisor. The Academy provides dedicated programs, tools, and resources to support your career journey.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage client relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Guide clients with advice and solutions tailored to their financial goals, including retirement, education, legacy, and other life goals.
  • Deliver core banking and investment solutions while adhering to Bank of America’s approach to client care.
  • Apply regulatory due diligence in daily activities and long-term client strategies.
  • Identify appropriate client solutions using learned information and adapt to new technologies or applications.
  • Execute multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a results-driven mindset.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience (desired).
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technology or applications.

This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. You will be required to complete the SAFE Act background check and registration process. Failure to maintain SAFE Act registration may result in immediate termination.

Schedule

Full-time position (40 hours per week) on the 1st shift.
