Advisor Consultant Full-Time - Fall 2026

The Advisor Consultant role is designed for early career professionals eager to launch a dynamic and rewarding career in financial services. This role offers a unique opportunity to build a strong foundation in client relationship management, consultative sales, and practice management through a comprehensive and immersive training program. You’ll begin your journey with in-depth training that includes investment markets, product knowledge, presentation skills, and preparation for the Series 7, 66, and SIE licenses.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with Financial Advisors to strengthen relationships, identify cross-selling opportunities, and cultivate new business.
• Represent Lord Abbett with professionalism and expertise, serving as a trusted resource for our clients.
• Receive regular performance feedback and coaching to support your development and success.
• Exhibit strong knowledge of mutual funds, separately managed accounts (SMAs), and retirement solutions.
• Analyze and interpret current market trends to assess their implications on investment strategies.
• Initiate proactive outreach to financial advisors, delivering timely sales ideas and value-added business insights.
• Collaborate closely with Regional Managers to drive growth and manage relationships within an assigned territory.
• Coordinate with the Marketing team to execute strategic outbound calling campaigns that support business objectives.

Requirements

• 0-3 years relevant experience in the financial services industry.
• Ability to obtain the Series 7, 66, and SIE licenses within the designated time frame.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• The aptitude to learn and adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment.
• Real ambition to pursue a client-facing career, with a strong interest in relationship management and sales.
• Ability to develop client relationships and strategic partnerships.

Pay

Annual base salary for this role is $95,000. Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. Role may be eligible to receive a performance-based bonus. Bonus eligibility and amounts are determined by several factors including, but not limited to, firm, team, and individual performance.
