Advertising Sales Executive

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Advertising Sales Representative to join our dynamic team at CityScene Media Group, publisher of central Ohio's best-read magazines. In this role, you will develop and manage client relationships, promote our print and digital advertising solutions, and drive sales growth within your designated territory. The ideal candidate will build relationships with business owners and professionals to help them market and brand their services using CityScene’s print and digital products. Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new advertising clients.
• Manage existing client accounts while upselling additional advertising services to maximize revenue.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline management using CRM software.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in advertising sales or a related field, with a focus on business development and territory management.
• Strong technical sales skills with the ability to effectively communicate marketing concepts to clients.
• Experience in negotiating contracts and closing deals successfully.
• Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and advertising platforms is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay

$45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year, plus uncapped commission and bonus opportunities.
