Advertising Sales Executive

Responsibilities
- Prospect, develop, and maintain a strong pipeline of new business through cold calling, networking, and community engagement.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients by understanding their business objectives and marketing needs.
- Create and present customized advertising proposals across radio, digital, streaming, social, and promotional platforms.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams (programming, promotions, digital, and production) to execute successful campaigns.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals, and sales activity in CRM systems.
- Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings.
- Provide ongoing campaign performance updates and recommendations to clients.
- Represent the station at community and networking events to enhance brand visibility.
Requirements
- High-achieving sales track record of developing revenue.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Charismatic, confident, and customer-centric mindset.
- Valid Illinois Driver License and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record Check.
Pay
Competitive base salary plus monthly commission. The expected annual earnings for this position range from $45,000–$60,000 based on experience with opportunities for increased earnings as you grow your client portfolio, build sales success, and advance in the company.
