About the role
Dunn&Co. is a branding and advertising agency with a focus on building a team that works together with passion and empathy. We have an immediate opening for an Account Supervisor within our DunnHealth division, which serves pharmaceutical and medical product manufacturing brands. This role blends account planning and project management, requiring you to wear multiple hats—supporting client strategy, managing campaigns, collaborating with creative teams, and contributing your own ideas.
Responsibilities
- Attend to client needs and proactively add value to their business.
- Communicate with clients daily, demonstrating thought leadership and supporting marketing strategies.
- Present project/campaign plans, budgets, and rationale to clients.
- Manage budgets, media, production costs, and invoicing according to SOW billing schedules.
- Handle all project management duties: writing job specifications, opening jobs, creating timelines, production follow-through, and accurate billing/invoicing.
- Write project briefs and client reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams (account, creative, production, strategy) to execute projects on strategy, on budget, and on time.
- Ensure effective communication between teams and adherence to project plans and deadlines.
- Monitor project and campaign effectiveness and outcomes.
- Travel as needed for client initiatives (tradeshows, production shoots, meetings, etc.).
- Develop budgets using agency estimating templates.
- Write new SOWs based on prior agency templates.
- Maintain client status documents with insights from meetings.
- Create and maintain detailed project plans in slide format for client presentations.
- Serve as the account services lead on agency production services, coordinating with producers for seamless delivery.
Growth Areas
- Develop agency recommendations and campaign approaches based on client inputs, summarizing them into client-facing plans and internal communications.
- Hone client presentation skills and take ownership of small-to-medium projects/clients.
- Identify opportunities for organic new business growth and influence clients toward deeper partnerships.
- Manage, coach, and mentor up to 2 junior staff members (e.g., interns, Account Coordinators, Associate Account Executives).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in advertising or a related field.
- 3+ years of advertising or marketing agency experience (non-negotiable).
- Background in healthcare is preferred; passion for the healthcare space is also considered.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills for both internal and external collaboration.
- Leadership by example and ability to work well with account teams.
- Self-starter capable of delivering results with minimal supervision.
- Dependable team player, able to work autonomously or as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects from inception to completion.
- Impeccable presentation skills.
- Familiarity with Google Suite, Mac, Microsoft Office Suite, Keynote, meeting software (Zoom, WebEx), Workamajig (or similar project management tools), social media platforms, and proofreading.
Pay
Salary range is $50,000 – $65,000, depending on experience and talent.
Schedule
Hybrid work schedule: in-office Tuesday through Thursday, remote Mondays and Fridays. Local candidates or those willing to relocate to Tampa Bay only.
