About the Role
As an Adventure Retail Guide, you’ll create a welcoming and engaging shopping experience for every guest who enters the store. You’ll help guests find exactly what they need, share product knowledge and recommendations, and keep merchandise inviting, organized, and well-stocked. From processing transactions accurately to maintaining an appealing sales floor, you’ll help make the retail experience another memorable part of each guest’s SKYLAKE adventure.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage guests with warmth and professionalism as they enter the store
- Assist guests with product inquiries and provide recommendations to enhance their shopping experience
- Process sales transactions accurately using SKYLAKE’s point-of-sale (POS) system, including cash and credit card payments
- Monitor inventory levels, restock merchandise, and maintain attractive, organized displays
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sales floor, including display areas and merchandise spaces as applicable
- Address guest concerns and returns with professionalism and empathy, escalating issues when necessary
- Support in-store promotions, seasonal merchandising, and special sales activities
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Experience in retail, customer service, or another guest-facing role is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with guests and team members
- A professional, energetic, self-motivated, and positive approach to work
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read, write, communicate, and perform basic math calculations
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

This position is classified as non-exempt in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws. This role requires prolonged standing and may involve occasional work in other areas of the park or exposure to varying environmental conditions.
