Advanced Technical Support Specialist

Essential Responsibilities

  • Ability to read, interpret safety documents, schematics and other mechanical/electrical diagrams
  • Experienced in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems of an engine and/or generator
  • The ability to work well as part of a team
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

Qualification Requirements

  • Strong customer service mindset and strong skills to drive, support, Empower and inspire the Service teams and Customers
  • +5 years’ experience in a technical role
  • Service on engines (ideally INNIO Jenbacher engines)
  • Technical attitude, complemented by strong business acumen including basic IT skills
  • Willingness to work in shift model and on call
  • Experience working with electrical or mechanical systems
  • Fluency in English a must
  • Good interpersonal skills

Job Specific Knowledge

  • Strong communication skills
  • Boundaryless and multi-culture working mindset and team player
  • Able to work efficiently without direct supervision
  • Multi-year working experience with Jenbacher gas engines in the field, operational & commissioning, all engine types
  • Jenbacher training certifications: FTB, FTA, CT1, CT2, MR
  • Mechanical/electrical RCA research and analysis exposure
  • Previous field experience a bonus
