About the role
The Breckenridge Resort Security (BRS) Officer ensures a safe environment by patrolling resort properties and collaborating with other departments. The role is crucial in delivering an Experience of a Lifetime for guests and employees.
Responsibilities
- Maintains a daily log of all activities throughout the shift.
- Maintains key and access control of Vail Properties & mountain road access gates.
- Aids guests with vehicle lockouts and jump starts.
- Provides security assistance at all local Vail Resorts hospitality locations.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Experience in dealing with emergencies (preferred).
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS 365.
- Ability to work on your feet for up to 10 hours in a high-altitude mountain environment in inclement weather.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
- Professional writing experience (preferred).
- Strong communication skills with a variety of staff and guests.

- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay
The starting wage is $22.00/hr - $26.88/hr. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
Schedule
Full Time roles are eligible for the above benefits plus health insurance.
