Advanced Scientist

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Product Development Scientist will be part of the Product Development team within the North American Nonwovens Science and Technology organization. You will develop new and innovative non-woven products that deliver value to our building materials customers. This role will interface across all levels of the Nonwovens business and partner with internal and external stakeholders to define and scope projects, develop solutions, scale up, and launch products. This position is located at the Granville, OH, Science and Technology campus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Development - Serve as the technical lead for customer focused projects from inception to manufacturing - Engage with customer’s technical team to identify growth opportunities, anticipate market needs, and provide technical support - Partner with commercial, marketing, and operations colleagues to successfully develop and launch products - Manage projects utilizing the Stage-Gate process and project management tools - Partner with Intellectual Property and Strategic Marketing to develop strategy and control points for our technology - Design and conduct lab experiments to drive technical solutions.
