About the role
The Certified Respiratory Therapist will perform duties involved with the treatment, management control, diagnostic evaluation, and care of patients with deficiencies and/or abnormalities within the Pulmonary system. They will communicate with physicians and the respiratory team regarding patient progress in relation to the care plan.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic evaluations on patients with pulmonary issues
- Treatment and management of patients with respiratory conditions
- Communicate with physicians and respiratory team regarding patient care plans
- Additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role
Requirements
- Completed degree in Respiratory Therapy
- RRT certification must be obtained within 12 months of employment
- Active ASBRT LRT certification required
- Active NBRC CRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) may be required based on area assignment

- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work within rigid time constraints
- Reasoning ability and good independent judgment
