About the role
The Advanced Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to support patient diagnosis and treatment. This role requires proficiency in operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, upholding high-quality imaging standards, and maintaining accurate records and documentation of procedures and findings. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care.
Loan Repayment Assistance
Up to $20,000 lifetime through the Imaging Loan Repayment Assistance Program for Mercy Imaging co-workers in a 24X7 hospital based eligible position who are in a .4 FTE and above, working 32 hours or more per pay period. The program offers monthly payments made directly to the loan servicer up to $370 per month and up to $20,000 lifetime maximum.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours
- Experience: One (1) year of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor's degree program
- Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice
- Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists-Radiography (ARRT(R)); Basic Life Support (BLS)

- Proficiency in operating radiographic imaging equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Prolonged standing and walking during each shift
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
