Advanced Practitioner

We are seeking highly experienced Advanced Practitioners to join our new Forth Valley Urgent Care Walk-in- Centre(s). This role is appropriate to those Advanced Practitioners who are qualified and are annotated on the national and / or local workforce register as an advanced practitioner. Applicants must have significant experience of managing patients with urgent undifferentiated presentations in primary care or out-of-hours services. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate competency in the breadth and depth of diagnosis and treatment in all age groups including children. The post-holder will be responsible for the clinical and professional development of Newly Qualified or Trainee Advanced Practitioners supervising and assessing through the recognised academic programmes and primary care competency frameworks. As part of a multi-professional team the post holders will be expected to liaise with patients and carers regarding clinical conditions and care planning. This will at times include sharing highly sensitive information, therefore excellent communication skills are essential.
