Seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse II to provide comprehensive medical care at a state-supported living center serving individuals with intellectual, developmental, or behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities

• Conducting assessments
• Diagnosing
• Prescribing medications within scope
• Managing chronic conditions
• Developing individualized care plans
• Overseeing acute and chronic patient care
• Reviewing laboratory tests
• Evaluating treatment efficacy
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Supervising and training nursing staff
• Documenting patient records accurately
• Providing care for injured employees when needed

Requirements

• Passing background checks
• Passing drug screening
• Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• Valid Texas RN license or reciprocity
• Certification as an APRN
• DEA registration
• NPI number
• Master's degree or higher in nursing from an accredited program
• At least 2 years of clinical experience
• Supervisory experience preferred

Pay

Salary range: $11,800 to $14,356 per month.
