Overview
The Urgent Care APP (NP or PA) provides health care services including health assessments, treatments, regulatory exams, and procedures in a walk-in Urgent Care center. Services are directed by assigned physicians under a collaborative agreement. The PA must be flexible in scheduling, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and 12-hour shifts. Prescribes medications and performs procedures. Requires continuing education and prescriptive authority.

- Prescription Authority (VA staff only, 2-3 shifts per month)
Experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a practicing provider in an urgent, immediate, or emergency care setting
