Advanced Practice Provider - Urgent Care

Responsibilities
- Provides healthcare treatment for patients of all ages in a walk-in facility.
- Works 12-hour shifts per month, with at least 1 weekend shift per month.
- Floats to Urgent Care practices in Greencastle, Chambersburg, Shippensburg, and Waynesboro.
- Utilizes integrated system-wide electronic health record.
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care experience preferred.
- Minimum of (2) 12-hour shifts per month.
- Must be able to work 1 weekend shift per month.
- Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required or Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant Required.
- Masters Degree Physician Assistant Preferred.
- One year of relevant work experience required.
- Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner upon hire required.
- Licensed Physician Assistant upon hire required.
- Basic Life Support upon hire required or Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire required.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required or Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant Required.
- Work Experience: One year of relevant work experience required.
- Licenses: Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner upon hire required or Licensed Physician Assistant upon hire required.
- Basic Life Support upon hire required or Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire required.
- Courses and Training: BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role upon hire required.
- Additional Certifications: Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification upon hire required and Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners upon hire required or Physician Assistant - Graduate of accredited physician assistant program upon hire required.

Schedule
Outpatient position with the expectation to float to Urgent Care practices (Greencastle, Chambersburg, Shippensburg and Waynesboro).
