Advanced Practice Provider - Tennessee Oncology
About the role
Tennessee Oncology is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to support its inpatient hematology and oncology services within a private practice hospital setting. In this role, you will provide inpatient rounding care, working primarily with hospitalized hematology patients while collaborating closely with physicians and the care team. The position offers significant clinical responsibility; APPs must be comfortable working autonomously in a hospital-based environment. This opportunity is well suited for an experienced APP with direct hospitalist and hematology/oncology experience who values independent practice, clinical depth, and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient rounding care for hospitalized hematology patients
- Collaborate closely with physicians and the care team
- Work autonomously in a hospital-based environment
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of APP experience required
- Hematology/Oncology experience as RN or APP required
- Hospitalist experience as RN or APP required
Qualifications
- NP-C or PA-C certification
