Advanced Practice Provider Primary Care

About the role

Join an established Primary Care practice with excellent work/life balance and no call or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessment and assign diagnosis based on recorded assessment data and current scientific and current research
• Establish plan of care and implement interventions in accordance with care paths, protocols, standards of care and current research
• Provide education and counseling to patients, families and groups

Schedule

• Clinic hours are Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
• One 1/2 Saturday
• No call or weekends

Pay

Clinical base hourly pay range: $55.20-63.65/hr. This is a salaried position. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program
• Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
• Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in primary care or a related field is preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
