The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will promote collaboration between multiple disciplines to ensure cost effective and quality patient care.
Duties & Responsibilities
- 10-hour shift schedule
- APPs cover the unit seven days per week (days only)
- Reports to the Lead Inpatient Hematology APP
- 100% Inpatient
Preferred Qualifications
- Applicants with previous Advanced Practice Provider experience in Cancer related specialty is required.
- APRN Candidates will require Acute Care Certification.
Position Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner: Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse or eligible to obtain a licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process
- Master of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing practice with clinical specialty appropriate to position
- Current certification by American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioner (AANP)
- CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Physician Assistant: Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant/Associate or eligible to obtain a licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process
- Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate Program
- Current certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
- CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
