Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) - Surgery-Vascular

Responsibilities

• Independent Podiatry Consult
  • Manage a dedicated consult list focused on Podiatry assessments and plans.
  • Perform independent bedside procedures such as debridement and biopsy.
  • Closely communicate and coordinate with multiple teams throughout the hospital.
• Inpatient Management
  • Educate patients and families on treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and rehabilitation.
  • Auxiliary in surgical procedures with podiatrists in the OR.
  • Ensure proper pre-operative and post-operative care for surgical patients.
• Surgical Assistance
  • Engage in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and program effectiveness.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in podiatry techniques and treatments.

Qualifications

No prior experience required.

Skills

Demonstrated clinical competency, effective leadership skills, strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills, effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting, documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
