Advanced Practice Provider - Otolaryngology, Main Campus
About the role
Seattle Children’s is seeking a motivated and versatile Advanced Practice Provider (APP), either a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or a Physician Assistant (PA), to join our growing Otolaryngology (ENT) – Head and Neck Surgery team. This role is designed for a clinician who thrives in a fast-paced ambulatory environment and is passionate about providing world-class pediatric care.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse panel of patients presenting with a broad range of ENT pathologies affecting the head and neck.
- Collaborate with world-renowned attending surgeons to coordinate care for children with complex medical conditions and specialized surgical needs.
- Maintain proficiency in interpreting diagnostic imaging and performing specialized procedures, including binocular microscopy, foreign body removal, and cauterization.
- Contribute to departmental Quality Improvement (QI) projects and organizational performance initiatives.
- Participate in meaningful research efforts and provide essential education to patients, families, and the broader healthcare team.
Location & Deployment
This is a fully clinic-based position. While your primary deployment will be at our Main Campus, flexibility is key; occasional coverage may be required at our Bellevue Clinic to ensure seamless patient care across the region.
Required Education And Experience
- Master's degree in nursing with a concentration in a pediatric or family nurse practitioner program OR graduate of a nationally accredited physician assistant program.
- One year work experience in a pediatric or family focused clinical area.
Preferred
- Two years experience in advanced practice provider role.
- Two years experience in pediatric health care.
Compensation Range
$137,321 - $201,961 per year
