Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) - Hospital Medicine

A healthcare system in Connecticut is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their team in Hartford County. This role supports hospital medicine coverage across day, swing, and night shifts with opportunities to work in a collaborative inpatient environment.About the Opportunity:Shift: Days, Nights or Swing shiftsSchedule: Sunday to Saturday (ideal coverage is 7 on / 7 off)Hours:7am to 7pmor 11am to 11pmor 7pm to 7amSetting: Inpatient hospitalResponsibilities:Provide hospital medicine coverage for assigned day, swing, or night shiftsManage inpatient rounding, admissions, and ongoing patient careCollaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and residents as neededSupport patient flow and coordinate care across the hospital medicine serviceWork within an Epic-based clinical environment and maintain high-quality, efficient careQualifications:Active NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) licenseBoard certification requiredAbility to work independently for night coverage when neededDesired Skills:Experience in hospital medicine or inpatient acute careExperience working independently in a hospital settingFamiliarity with EpicFlexibility to cover multiple shifts or float between locations
