About the role
UVA Health seeks a dedicated, full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to provide comprehensive employee and occupational health services. The APP evaluates and manages work-related injuries and illnesses, occupational exposures, medical surveillance needs, and fitness-for-duty and return-to-work concerns. This role combines clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, counseling, and care coordination with program development, staff education, and quality improvement. Working collaboratively with Employee Health medical and operational leadership and interdisciplinary partners, this APP will promote employee health and safety, support timely access to care, and facilitate safe and sustainable return to work. Services are provided within the APP’s authorized scope of practice, clinical privileges, and organizational policies.
