Advanced Practice Provider – Neurology (ARNP/PA-C) – Full-Time, 1.0 FTE

About the role

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) – Neurology position at Valley Medical Center is a Full-Time (1.0 FTE) role focusing on cognitive-behavioral neurology/dementia. The position is part of the Neuroscience Institute, which includes Neurologists, a Neuro-interventionalist, Neuro-Hospitalists, and two inpatient Neuro APPs. The role operates on a five-day workweek with no weekend clinic, and full support staff are available.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Neurologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage patients’ conditions
• Provide education to patients and families about their neurological conditions
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and rounds
• Assist with clinical research projects related to neurology

Requirements

• Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority
• BLS Certification
• Two (2) years of experience strongly preferred
• Background in Geriatrics and/or Neurology preferable

Qualifications

• Medical Professional License in the State of WA
• DEA with full prescriptive authority
• BLS Certification

Pay

Compensation is competitive and includes a generous benefit package. Base Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000.
