About the role

This position will work 40 hours a week. This position focuses on rounding in the inpatient and emergency department settings, as well as providing care in the outpatient clinic. There is no procedural assistant component associated with this role.

Responsibilities

• Work four 10-hour shifts
• No call
• No weekends/holidays
• Perform surgical procedures under supervision or independently, as per scope of practice and credentialing.
• Provide postoperative follow-up care, including wound management, suture/staple removal, and patient education.
• Provides assessment, evaluation, and management to patients that may include but is not limited to minor, acute, chronic, & episodic illness & injuries.
• Maintains and reviews patient records, charts, and other pertinent information, documenting all details in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and other providers to develop and implement patient care plans to ensure the best possible care and outcomes of patients.
• Provides case management services to assist clients and families with the arrangement for, or refer patients to needed services.
• Collaborates with patients to review their health background and wellness provide health counseling and education to.

Requirements

Minimum Education Level: Master's Degree
