About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct 60-minute psychiatry assessments and 30-minute follow-up sessions remotely.
  • Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, including controlled substances, in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Integrate brief psychotherapy when clinically appropriate to support clients in achieving their goals.
  • Collaborate with physicians, clinical leadership, therapists, and other providers to develop and implement integrated care plans.
  • Use data-informed tools and measurement-based care to tailor treatment plans and enhance outcomes.
  • Collaborate with a diverse community of clinicians committed to redefining mental health care.

Requirements

  • A board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
  • Licensed to practice in Maryland as a PMHNP, with additional licensure in Washington DC preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience providing mental health services as a PMHNP.
  • Active DEA license in Maryland, with additional DEA in Washington DC preferred.
  • Experience delivering remote telepsychiatry services.
  • A passion for high-quality, measurement-based, collaborative care.
  • Able to start in August 2026.

Pay

New hires can reasonably expect an offer between $62 and $96/hour, depending on location and qualifications.

Schedule

The position offers a flexible schedule with operating hours of Monday through Friday, 8am-8pm, with approximately 75% of time spent on direct client care and 25% on administrative and supervisory work.
