Responsibilities
- Perform complete, detailed, and accurate health histories
- Review patient records and develop comprehensive medical assessments
- Order laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic studies as needed
- Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals
- Implement emergency measures and treatment in critical situations
- Interpret and analyze patient data to determine status and treatment
- Provide instructions and guidance on health care and promotion
Requirements
- ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certified (with 1 year ER/UC experience preferred outside of clinical rotations)
- Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate
- Able to multi-task and work independently
- DOT Certification
