Responsibilities

• Perform complete, detailed, and accurate health histories
• Review patient records and develop comprehensive medical assessments
• Order laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic studies as needed
• Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals
• Implement emergency measures and treatment in critical situations
• Interpret and analyze patient data to determine status and treatment
• Provide instructions and guidance on health care and promotion

Qualifications

• ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certified (with 1 year ER/UC experience preferred)
• Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice
• DEA number and state-controlled substance certificate (as required)
• Able to multi-task and work independently
