About the role
Sentara Medical Group has a full-time opening for an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join Sentara Family Medicine & Pediatrics in Hampton, VA. This small, patient-centered practice provides both family medicine and pediatric care and is conveniently located within CarePlex Hospital, adjacent to our Midwifery Clinic. Established two years ago, the practice is thriving and seeks a provider who enjoys caring for patients of all ages.
Position Highlights
- Monday–Friday schedule (36 patient contact hours, 4 hours admin)
- Flexibility to work a 4-day work week
- Average of 16–18 patients per day
- Provide care to a wide range of primary care patients from newborns and up
- Collaborative, team-based environment focused on improving patient outcomes
- No call, no weekends
- Fully integrated EHR (Epic) and team utilizes DAX Copilot AI for patient transcription
Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Experience preferred; new graduates welcome with pediatric rotation experience
