Kidney Specialists of South Texas, P.A. is a leading nephrology practice based in Corpus Christi, Texas. For more than two decades, they have proudly served kidney patients throughout the Coastal Bend region.
About the role
We are expanding and seeking passionate Advanced Practice Providers to join our dynamic team. Preferred backgrounds include internal medicine exposure or nephrology experience, but neither is required. Comprehensive training is provided through online modules, mentorship, and scheduled check-ins to ensure a smooth transition into nephrology.
Office location: 1521 S Staples St Ste 601, Corpus Christi, Texas 78404.
Pay
Starting salary of $120,000, with productivity incentive.
Schedule
- Full-time position with 3 weeks PTO
- Dialysis-limited visits
- Outpatient clinic
- No call expectations
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in nursing or physician assistant studies from a nationally recognized program with formal clinical preparation meeting minimum hour standards
- Competencies in advanced health assessment, physical examination, diagnosis, planning, and managing care, including pharmacotherapeutics
- Ability to provide nursing expertise in diagnosis and treatment to prevent, remediate, or alleviate illness and promote health, improving patient outcomes
- Knowledge of patient assessment techniques, including taking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status, and ensuring compliance with care recommendations
- Experience in diagnosing and treating medical problems and developing care plans
- Proficiency in documenting medical records confidentially
