Advanced Practice Provider - Chesapeake Urology
About the role
Chesapeake Urology is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join its urology team with a clinical focus on both men’s sexual health and general urology. In this role, you will work closely with physicians to provide patient‑centered care through evaluations, follow‑up visits, and treatment planning across outpatient and inpatient settings. The practice offers a collaborative environment where APPs are supported, encouraged to grow clinically, and play an integral role in delivering high‑quality urologic care. This opportunity is well suited for an APP who values teamwork, patient relationships, and developing expertise within a well‑established urology group.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans
- Provide patient education and counseling on men’s health topics
- Participate in ongoing professional development and clinical training
- Support the growth of the practice by contributing to patient care and clinical initiatives
Requirements
- 2+ years of patient-facing clinical experience in a hospital, outpatient, surgical, or specialty practice setting
- Urology experience as an RN or APP strongly preferred
- Passion for Men's Health and Urology
- Comfortable discussing sensitive men's health concerns and building trusted patient relationships
Qualifications
- NP-C or PA-C certification
- MD or DO degree
- Current license to practice in Maryland
