Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP/PA-C) - Division of Gastroenterology

About the role

The University of Washington’s Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology is seeking an ARNP/PA for a full-time (1.0 FTE) position, at the rank of Teaching Associate. We seek applicants who demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and service in a diverse and inclusive academic community.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services at the UWMC, Eastside clinic, and the Northwest campus.
• Work directly with attending physicians, and nurse practitioners, as well as clinic and endoscopy staff including nurses and medical assistants.
• Provide gastroenterology consultative services predominantly in the outpatient setting but may also include inpatient consultative services.

Qualifications

• Graduate Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program or graduate of an accredited PA program, or foreign equivalent.
• Current and valid licensure as an ARNP or PA-C in Washington State.
• Nationally certified ARNP/PA with DEA.
• Proven excellence working in an interdisciplinary collaborative team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and clinical expertise in the care of patients with chronic and acute gastrointestinal and liver illnesses.

Pay and Schedule

Pay Range Minimum: $129,996.00 annual
Pay Range Maximum: $185,004.00 annual
Shift: First Shift (United States of America)
