Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in daily rounds, admission, daily care, discharge of Cardiology E service patients
  • Participate in the inpatient and outpatient EP referral clinics, as well as the ICD and pacemaker device follow up clinics
  • Collaborate with attending physician, fellows, residents and other APPs to establish patient care plans and outpatient follow-up
  • Attend Electrophysiology conferences on Tuesday mornings at 7:30am
  • Encouraged to attend Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery conferences on Wednesday mornings and Cardiology Grand Rounds on Friday mornings and any other conferences of the Electrophysiology Section
  • Support the electrophysiology program by arranging appropriate pre-procedure studies, laboratory tests and performing admission history and physical exams when patients are admitted for their procedure
  • Assist in the discharge of these patients following their ablation procedure and provide outpatient follow-up under the direction of the EP attending physician
  • Help to maintain the ventricular tachycardia (VT) and atrial fibrillation (AF) ablation program databases

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing
  • Washington State Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License with prescriptive privileges
  • License to practice as an RN in Washington State
  • National certification as a Nurse Practitioner
  • BLS certification
  • OR Licensure as a Physician's Assistant in the State of Washington
  • National certification from a national certifying body (NCCPA)
  • Applicant must be eligible to receive hospital staff appointments for adjunct staff membership by the Organized Medical Staff of the hospital under Medical Staff By-Laws for hospital-based positions

Pay

  • Pay Range Minimum: $138,720.00 annual
  • Pay Range Maximum: $210,684.00 annual
