Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and health education for individuals and families across the lifespan.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to promote wellness, manage acute and chronic conditions, and ensure high-quality, evidence-based care.
- Practice in accordance with Ohio law and organizational policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Carry out all job responsibilities in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.
Requirements
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Completion of graduate-level clinical practicum in an advanced practice nursing program.
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the State of Ohio.
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a relevant specialty area from a board-approved certifying organization (e.g., ANCC, AANP).
- Current DEA registration, or ability to obtain prior to prescribing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or Ph.D. in Nursing.
- Experience in a primary care or family practice setting.
- Specialty certification relevant to area of practice.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
