Essential Functions and Accountabilities
- Obtains detailed medical histories, reviews medical records, and performs appropriate physical exams.
- Performs detailed infertility evaluations, including but not limited to gynecologic exams, procedures, ultrasonography; order appropriate tests, and interprets laboratory values.
- Collaborate with physicians in development and implementation of treatment plans appropriate to individual patients.
- Prescribes appropriate medications and provides appropriate referrals.
- Provides detailed and comprehensive patient counseling and education.
- Acts as a liaison between collaborating physician and clinical staff to ensure high-level medical care and addresses issues for improvement.
Position Requirements/Experience
- At least two years of previous experience in women's health or reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
- Prior experience in performing and interpreting GYN US preferred.
Technical Skills
- Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.
Academic Training
- Current board certification in Massachusetts as Physician Assistant, Family Nurse Practitioner or Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.
- Current Massachusetts state license as Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant with prescriptive authority.
