About the role

Cardiology practice offering inpatient and outpatient care in Barnegat/Lakewood. The Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) provides clinical care to patients with acute and chronic heart conditions in hospital, critical care, or outpatient clinic settings.

Setting: Inpatient cardiac care units, step-down, or hospital consults; outpatient cardiology clinics; critical care CCU/ICU.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed history and physical examinations, manage daily rounds, and design evidence-based treatment plans.
• Manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions such as acute coronary syndrome (ACS), heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, cardiogenic shock, and post-procedural recovery.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests) and manage or assist with specialized cardiac devices/procedures (e.g., IABP
