Advanced Practice Nurse - Albuquerque, NM (Washington Street)
About the role
We’re hiring for a brand-new health center opening soon in the Albuquerque area. Candidate selected for this role will start their time at our Albuquerque location before transitioning to the new site when it opens. This is a unique chance to be part of a growing team and help launch a new facility dedicated to exceptional patient care.
Union
This role is represented by SEIU, Local 105 and is governed by the terms of a collective bargaining agreement.
Paid Training
To give you the best training possible in the shortest amount of time, you may need to travel to Denver for 2-4 weeks during the first 1 to 2 months of employment.
What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive physical exams with a focus on reproductive health for all genders.
- Perform cancer screenings, diagnose/treat STIs, and complete advanced clinical procedures.
- Deliver contraceptive counseling, education, and method provision.
- Participate in abortion care through counseling, referrals, scheduling, and/or direct provision.
- Provide patient-centered, trauma-informed care, including medication abortion and gender-affirming care, following all laws and PPRM Medical Standards & Guidelines.
- Partner with patients, care teams, and community agencies to support holistic care.
- Advance access to reproductive healthcare while achieving quality and performance goals as a clinical leader.
Starting Pay
$49.23–$65.16/hour (based on experience in reproductive/sexual healthcare or with PPRM)
Additional Pay
+$2.25/hour for Spanish fluency (upon passing test)
Schedule
Full-time ~37.5 hours/week

COVID-19 Protocol
Vaccination against COVID-19 will no longer be a condition of employment. However, all Health Center/Patient or Community Facing Employees, must have the COVID vaccine or wear a mask at all times beginning November 1st. Proof must be uploaded upon hire.
Flu Protocol
All employees working directly with patients, the community or working in a health center will be required to have the flu shot or wear a mask during patient/community contact or while in the health center from November 1 – April 30 each year (Flu Season).
