About the role
We are seeking a qualified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide night shift critical-care services in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Managing acutely and chronically critically ill or injured adult patients
- Collaborating with intensivists for medical and surgical management
- Performing advanced airway management and invasive procedures such as central lines, arterial lines, tube thoracostomy, and dialysis catheters
- Administering and titrating vasoactive drugs, insulin infusions, sedation, and analgesia
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
Qualifications
- Completion of an approved Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate program
- Current license and national certification in Delaware
- Valid prescriptive authority and DEA license or eligibility
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years critical care experience
- Certification in airway management within 1 year of hire
