ADVANCED PRACTICE CLINICIAN - BEEBE PRIMARY CARE MILFORD -

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely assessment, evaluation, and treatment of patients from six (6) months to the geriatric population.
• Diagnostics - Ability to accurately interpret electrocardiogram and lab test results.
• Provide accurate and timely diagnosis and care management to patients with chronic illnesses, such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and asthma.
• Promote disease prevention by using effective risk assessment, coaching, and counseling skills.
• As appropriate, provide timely and accurate completion of Annual Medicare Wellness physicals in accordance with Beebe Medical Group policy and Medicare guidelines.
• Able to appropriately handle unexpected emergent medical situations.
• Able to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with patients, co-workers, and healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• 2 - 4 years' experience.
• Prefers experience in Family Medicine practice.
• Credentials: Valid and unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the practicing state. Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), or Physician Assistant (PA-C). Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). DEA registration for prescribing medications (if required).
• Education: Essential Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program.
